The ExCELLS retreat for young scientists was held in Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture from 1st to 2nd February 2019. Four young researchers were invited as lecturers from universities. All the participants presented their research. Various active discussions were held in the two days.

Young researchers from different fields were gathering to search for new research steps.
