We explore innovative bio-imaging methodologies and applications for life- and medical sciences by utilizing cutting-edge technologies of laser, optical and materials. Our main research topics are the non-linear optical microscopy for realizing invasive fast and super-resolution observations and manipulations in living biospecimens, as well as the elucidation for the emergence and molecular basis of neural activities, exocytosis/secretion, and biological rhythms.
